HI, I'M KAT MARIA. ♡
I have a perfectly normal life. I just happen to spend a ridiculous amount of time inventing people, ruining their peace, and making them fall in love with the last person they should ever consider dating.
I write romance, action, comedy, horror, and whatever else my imagination decides to throw at me.
And because apparently writing books isn't enough work, I also create my own visuals, design websites, edit content, and explore AI and automation.
I like learning new things. I like figuring out how things work. And I especially like the satisfaction of doing something myself after being told it's complicated.
Unfortunately, this means I keep giving myself more work.
Welcome to my world. I made most of it myself.
Love, Kat Maria ♡

I create fictional people and give them problems. It's cheaper than producing an actual television series.

Book covers, cinematic scenes, and digital artwork. I have a very specific vision, and apparently everyone must suffer until it looks right.

I build my own websites. Sometimes I even understand what Wix wants from me.

I can spot a misplaced comma in someone else's writing while completely missing one in my own.

I love technology, especially when it helps me do more. Although somehow, doing things faster just gives me time to start another project.

At 18, I was already a devoted believer in the Immaculate Conception. While other girls dreamed of careers, riches, and Prince Charming, my greatest prayer was to become a good mother.
Okay, I also prayed for Keanu Reeves to become my husband. Apparently, heaven has a strict policy against unrealistic requests.
Then came my greatest answered prayer. My daughter.

A Gen Z baby named after a character from The Terminator. She almost became Padmé Amidala, but my doctor raised an eyebrow so high that I reconsidered my entire naming strategy. Honestly, the woman saved my daughter from explaining Star Wars references at every job interview.
I once dreamed of becoming a musician, too. Life had other plans, so my daughter fulfilled that dream instead. Turns out, I didn't have to become the musician. I just had to raise one. Much better arrangement, actually. I get the proud mother privileges without having to practice scales.
As a mother, I've always believed in progressive parenting. I never wanted to raise a child who obeyed simply because I said so. I wanted to raise someone who could think for herself, question things, make decisions, and have the courage to disagree with me.
And believe me, she mastered that last part beautifully.
I gave her room to explore, make mistakes, discover her passions, and become her own person. My job was never to write her entire life story. It was to make sure she had the confidence to write it herself.
Now she's on her 20's, wonderfully independent, and living proof that raising a strong woman means occasionally losing arguments to the very woman you raised.
She's my daughter, my best friend, my greatest pride, and the one dream that turned out better than anything I imagined.
Sorry, Keanu. You came in second. ♡
My Works

He always gets his way. Until Paulina—and one little girl—turn his perfect life upside down.

Thank you for being part of my world! ♡
Every read, comment, and message means more than you know. You're the reason I keep writing, creating, and inventing fictional men with ridiculously high standards.
Thank you for supporting my imagination and enabling my questionable obsession with fictional people.
At least my imaginary friends are finally paying off. 😂♡
